"TREAT ME" SURVEY IS HERE!

Today I release the treatment survey for those with ME/CFS & Long COVID 🥳

I am very excited to announce that I have finally completed a large ME/CFS & Long COVID treatment survey entitled TREAT ME. I invite and entreat anyone with ME/CFS & Long COVID to take this survey! The link is here. The estimated completion time may be around 75 minutes, but it could be much shorter or slightly longer depending upon how many of the treatments surveyed you've taken and how many of the optional questions you choose to answer. You do not need to finish the survey in one sitting; you may stop & resume the survey whenever you wish.

TREAT ME covers 150+ medications & supplements. Treatments were selected based on published trials, case reports, other relevant studies, results of earlier surveys I’ve written, direct patient accounts (including lots of feedback from many of you!), and my own pharmacist intuition. 

The survey has been granted IRB exemption which opens the door for potential publication. Furthermore, the Open Medicine Foundation (OMF) has elected to disseminate TREAT ME so the survey may reach a much wider population. The more data gathered, the better! OMF will also review a summary of the survey results and offer any analytical insights they may have.

I have spent the last couple of months carefully crafting this massive survey. It has been quite a grueling process, but I am very pleased with the final product! I will leave the survey open for around 4-6 weeks before closing it for analysis. As always, I plan to post results from the survey on social media (including here).

If enough people respond thoughtfully and I gather sufficient data, I’m confident this survey has the potential to move research forward in a positive way. If you’ve tried even ONE of the treatments on the list below and have a good idea how it affected you—whether you felt better, worse, or no effect at all—I ask that you PLEASE take the survey. You can easily skip over all the other treatment sections and you’ll be contributing valuable data to an important research project.
