PDE5 inhibitors (Sildenafil, Tadalafil, Vardenafil)

• Slightly ↓ blood pressure

• Rare bleeding risk may be exacerbated by NK

This is really great info, as always. Thanks! I'm staying tuned for anticonvulsants. I'm on Lamotrigine, which seems like it would have a weak interaction (I think it blocks some calcium channels). Also since it was my area of research as an undergrad neuropsych student, I'm always curious about cannabinoids. I'm not up to date on the literature there but CBD/THC are very common and people don't pay enough attention to interactions (and often don't mention use to prescribers or pharmacists!).

UGT enzymes and CYP3A4 contribute to lamotrigine metabolism. I don't think NK affects CYP3A4, but there's no info on UGT.

As for CBD, I think an interaction with NK is unlikely.

Sorry to resurrect this, but I've come across https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5867089/table/bcp13490-tbl-0002/?report=objectonly from https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5867089/, that says something about UGT suppression, and I was wondering if it would be relevant?

Thank you very much for sharing this information. Is there are any information about interactions with L-Arginine or L-Cirtulline? As I understand it these amino acids aid vessel dilation. Would there be any reason for interaction with Nattokinase? Is there any information on this. Thanks again for the great information you're providing

I don't know of any interaction between NK and L-arg or L-citrulline, but it doesn't mean there isn't one. There aren't any glaring red flags that I can tell.

You covered SSRIs, but what about DNRI (Wellbutrin/ bupropion)?

Many with POTS have been using it for years.

I haven't figured that one out yet. Seems a bit complicated.

There has been some conjecture that bupropion acts against neuroinflammation.

The amount of quality work you post here is incredible! A lot of work here. This community is absolutely blessed to have you. Looking forward to the results of the latest survey too. Are there communities online where someone with a scientific background could share their skills (on non-crash days)?

Hello, I take Adderall, and noticed a lot of side effects after taking nattkinase (anger, shaking, anxiety, panic attacks), I've had to start taking nk on break days. Does serrapeptase react with Adderall like nk? I've found it helps similar to nk, but can I take it after Adderall?

Have you learned anything else? What if you're taking lower doses of your ADHD meds?

What about spironolactone or leukotriene blocker of either Singular or AKBA Boswellia Serrata that many of us with LC driven MCAS take with the listed H1/H2's?

i haven't researched those yet. It's a rather time-consuming process but I'll keep adding more supplements / drugs as I have the time/energy. :-)

Awesome, thanks so much for your efforts and time! My LC buddy and I have have been doing this on our own already with all our supplements, otc and script meds so it's great to have a PharmD pointing out things unknown/unrealized about drugs mechanisms and interactions.

Can we assume these interactions likely hold for serratopeptidase and lumbrokinase as well? Or are those different enough from nattokinase that we can't? For example, the PEA interaction- does serratopeptidase also break amide bonds or just nattokinase does?

Would nattokinase be safe to start while taking paxlovid? I am currently on day 3 after testing positive 4 days ago
